Mrs. Ann Prince Foster, 90, former longtime resident of Lynnwood Drive, died Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Golden Living Center in Springfield.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Porter King officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 3 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Emmett Prince and Myra Edwards Prince. On September 10, 1938 she married Adolphus Lee Foster who preceded her in death on May 11, 1976. She had been employed with Dixie Manufacturing Company and later with Weather Tamer and worked as a volunteer for several years at Tennessee Children’s Home. Mrs. Foster was a member of West 7th Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include a niece, Patsy Davidson of Decherd; one nephew, Edward (Linda) Foster of Joelton; and two great nephews, Brian (Melanie) Foster and Keith Foster.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Modrall and Ella Rhea Foster.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
