Of Buffalo, NY, June 6, 2004; beloved husband of the late Sally (Hunter) Oden; loving father of Linda Oden; dear brother of Carrie McGhee, Mattie Pope and the late Nona Taylor, Artelia Richardson, Elizabeth Oden Lawler and Naman Oden. Family will be present to receive friends on Saturday from 11-noon at Calvary Baptist Church (Corner of Genesee and E. Parade St.) where funeral will immediately follow at noon. Pastor David A. Keaton officiating. Mr. Oden was a WW II Army Veteran decorated with a Purple Heart and Medal of Honor and a member of the DAV. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
