Olson Funeral Home, a family owned and operated funeral home in Menomonie for 85 years, has served Menomonie and the surrounding area for four generations. Founders Carl and Clara Olson operated a funeral home in Menomonie for several years before purchasing the property where Olson Funeral Home now stands. Second generations, Richard and his wife Jeanne joined them after World War II. Present Owner and third generation, Richard K. Olson and his wife, Karen, have operated the funeral home since 1974. The fourth generation of Olson’s, Ryan, Richard and Karen’s son, joined the family business with his wife Lori upon completing school at MATC in May 2000.

Kevin Hanson also graduated from the MATC program in May of 2000 and now resides in Menomonie with his wife and daughter.

The spacious facility at Olson Funeral Home includes three chapels to meet all your family and community needs. The chapels are also handicap accessible and offer off- street parking.
