ELIZABETH S. “LIZ” ANDREWS
Elizabeth S. “Liz” Andrews, age 86, of Menomonie, WI died Friday, December 05, 2008 at her home.
The former Elizabeth Storing was born Feb. 1, 1922 in Menomonie, WI to Charles E. and Frances (Kistner) Storing. She was raised in Menomonie and graduated from Menomonie High School in 1939.
On June 19, 1942 Liz married William Andrews in Superior, WI. While her husband was serving in the Army during W.W.II Liz continued her education and graduated from Stout Institute. She then received her Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling from St. Thomas University in St. Paul, MN.
Liz spent most of her working career in the St. Paul School District. She returned to Menomonie in 1999.
For enjoyment Liz loved doing crossword puzzles. She was an avid reader and was well versed on many subjects. She was also a volunteer at Red Cedar Medical Center. Liz was proud of her hometown of Menomonie and of the fine educational facility of Stout. She adored her grandchildren and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Jeanne (John) Kozlowicz of Wisconsin Rapids, WI
Barbara (William) MacNeill of West Bend, WI
Six grandchildren, William Duvick, Benjamin (Janice) Duvick, Daniel (Heidi) Kozlowicz, Kathryn (David) Reber, Charles (Sara) Grover and Corie (John) Strange.

She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Andrews and a brother David Storing.
The family is planning a private committal service at Evergreen Cemetery in Menomonie at a later date. Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie is assisting the family with arrangements.
