Arnold LeRoy Anderson, age 94, of Wheeler, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2009 at the Dunn County Health Care Center in Menomonie, WI. He had a good, long run, born June 17th, 1914, in the Town of Tainter, Dunn County, to Rance and Sarah (Butteris) Anderson. Arnold farmed and worked for Dunn County Highway Department for many years. He enjoyed playing cards, reading, and coffee time. Arnold is survived by His sons, Ronald (Margaret) Anderson, Rosemount, MN Rance (Sharon) Anderson, Wheeler, WI Daughters, Ruby (Bill) Henning, Sauk City, WI Rosalie (Cliff) Retzloff, Wheeler, WI Rita (Jerry) McCall, Hector, MN Roma (Rick) Rice, Ridgeland, WI Mona (Don) Duncan, Barron, WI 14 Grandchildren 22 Great-grandchildren 1 Great-great grandchild 1 Sister, Winnefred Dennemeyer of Menomonie He is preceded in death by his parents, his spouses, Sheila Andrews, Pearl Brielery; a son-in-law, James Bromley; brothers Glen Anderson and Vernon Anderson; sisters, Lenis Anderson and Lettie Wait. There will be a memorial service on Friday, May 15, 2009, at 1:00 PM at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Wheeler, WI, with Reverend Ron Burke officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Family and friends are welcome at the church 1 hour prior to the service. Olson Funeral Home of Menomonie, WI, is serving the family. | ||
