Yvonne M. Bemis, age 74, of Menomonie, WI died Saturday, June 12, 2004 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. She was born April 29, 1930 in Menomonie, WI to Lyle and Mary (Knopps) Bemis. Yvonne graduated from Menomonie High School and has lived in Menomonie all of her life. Yvonne was employed at Sandy Lee Mfg. in Menomonie for many years. She enjoyed playing cards with family and friends and she also had a love of horses and cats. Yvonne is survived by: 1 sister, Marcella (Warren) Dettinger of Hixton, WI 1 brother, Allen (Mary) Bemis of S. St. Paul, MN She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Dorla Johnson and Beverly Hovlid. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, June 17, 2004 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, with Rev. Paul Pillman officiating. Burial will be in Tramway Cemetery in the Town of Menomonie, Dunn Co., WI. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Wednesday and an hour prior to the service on Thursday. | ||
