| WILLIAM C. AHLBRECHT
William C. Ahlbrecht, age 59, of Wheeler, WI died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005 at Myrtle Werth Hospital-Mayo Health System in Menomonie. He was born April 10, 1946 in Devils Lake, North Dakota to Elmer and Evelyn (Belcher) Ahlbrecht. He was raised in the Crary and Devils Lake area in North Dakota. William graduated from Waconia High School in Waconia, MN. He then attended Technical School in Fergus Falls, MN. William served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Era. Following his military service he lived in Waconia, MN until moving to Wheeler, WI in the late 1980’s. He worked at Eaton Corporation in Eden Prairie, MN for almost thirty years. William enjoyed hobby farming, hunting and listening to old time country music. He was an active member and commander of the American Legion Post #150 and the V.F.W. Post #5462 in Waconia and was also in the Color Guard with the V.F.W. William is survived by: Two daughters, Wendy (Scott) Harmon of Chaska, MN Lacey Ahlbrecht of Eden Prairie, MN Two brothers and two sisters, Gary (Gayle) Ahlbrecht of Apache Junction, AZ Craig (Grace) Ahlbrecht of Apache Junction, AZ Susan Ahlbrecht of Apache Junction, AZ Nancy (Richard) Joyce of Chicago, IL He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends He was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn and Elmer Ahlbrercht. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2005 at Johnson Funeral Home in Waconia, MN, with Pastor Dale Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN with military honors. | ||
