Kathleen T. Biedermann, age 72, of Knapp, WI died peacefully Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006 at Red Cedar Medical Center-Mayo Health System in Menomonie.
The former Kathleen Theresa King was born April 20, 1933 in St. Paul, MN to Austin and Winifred (Reddington) King. Kathleen worked as a nurses aide at Gillette Shriner’s Hospital in St. Paul and then in pediatrics at St. Joseph’s Hospital in St. Paul.
Kathleen married Norman Biedermann on Feb. 27, 1959 in Iowa. They later moved to Wisconsin where Kathleen enjoyed raising her family. After retiring they moved to Minong, WI and she worked for the Minong School District. They have lived in Knapp, WI the past three years.
Kathleen enjoyed bowling, fishing, doing jigsaw puzzles, and handwork, like embroidery and her favorite sport was playing the slot machines. But the love of her life was children!

She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Jack, Jim and Bill King; and a grandson, Nicholas.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2006 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, with Rev. Tom Krieg officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family or to the donor’s choice.
