Dustin David Baier, age 20, of Menomonie, WI died Tuesday August 15, 2006 at Red Cedar Medical Center in Menomonie. Dustin was born May 20, 1986 in Menomonie, WI to Richard Baier and Lora Norby. He attended grade school in Menomonie and Boyceville and graduated from Menomonie High School in 2005. Dustin chose to be baptized at the age of ten and was later involved in the youth group at Menomonie Alliance Church and continued his search for the Lord with Jesus Fellowship of Believers. Dustin was a good athlete who loved wrestling, football and basketball along with rollerblading and kayaking. He was an adventurous spirit and loved running free in the rain. Dustin was an extremely loyal friend who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He had the heart of a lion and his loving and caring nature will truly be missed. Dustin is survived by: His mother, Lora Norby (Tim Bauer) of Menomonie His father, Richard Jr. (Tara) Baier of Menomonie Brothers and sisters, Chastity (Darren) DeSimone of Rio Rancho, NM Brother and best friend, Richard (Melisa) Baier Joseph Baier Asher Baier Vincent Penney and Karalin Zimmerman all of Menomonie. Maternal grandmother, LeNore Norby of Menomonie Paternal grandparents, Richard and Marilyn Baier of Elmwood He was a loving uncle to Cyrus, Hazen, Richard and Aiden He was also survived by many other relatives and friends Dustin was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, LaMoine Norby; an uncle Emanuel Norby and an aunt Tina Baier. Family and friends are welcome at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie for a Time of Remembrance from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday August 18, 2006. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 19, 2006 at the funeral home, with a viewing one hour prior to the service. Pastor Tim Dodson is officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at a later date. | ||
