Alta M. Boe, age 77, of Menomonie, WI passed away Thursday, April 3, 2003 at home, with her family. The former Alta Mae Stevens was born March 3,1926 in the Town of Hay River, Dunn Co., Wisconsin to Oscar and Alice (Talmage) Stevens. She attended Clover Valley Grade School and graduated from Dunn County Aggie in 1944. Alta married Vernon Boe on Feb. 10, 1945 in Chippewa Falls, WI. From that union six children were born. She enjoyed working in her garden, doing embroidery and doing crossword puzzles. Her family was very special to her and she received much enjoyment from her great-grandsons. Alta is survived by: Her husband, Vern Her children all of Menomonie Gary Boe Linda (Larry) Gales Gail (Rodney) Willert Kathryn (Dennis) Path Larry (Darlene) Boe Grandchildren all of Menomonie Kelly Hintzman, Brian Grutt, Kevin Path, Joseph (Colleen) Willert, David Boe, Tammy (Joel) Harper and Lisa Path Great-grandsons all of Menomonie Tanner and Reid Path and Ryan Willert Also her aunt, Fern Stevens of Minneapolis And many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Scott David Boe; a grandson, Kirby Ryan Willert and her only sister, Norma Anderson. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, April 7, 2003 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Menomonie, with Rev. Ron Burke officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery in the Town of Dunn, Dunn Co., WI. Family and friends are welcome at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie from 4:00 to 6:00 PM Sunday and at the church one hour prior to the service on Monday. | ||
