| Reah Mae (Doane) Waller, age 94 of Menomonie, WI passed away on Friday September 18, 2009 at the Dunn County Health Care Center in Menomonie.
Reah Mae Doane was born in Menomonie on July 23, 1915 to Albert and Edna (Cardinal) Doane. Reah married Curtis L. Waller on February 24, 1934. They lived in Irvington for most of their married life. They also lived in Horicon, WI, Montana and Wyoming for a short time. Curtis passed away on November 20, 1992. They were blessed with six children: Joanne (Jerry) Dow of Altoona, Joyce (Romaine) Endreson of Spooner, Jeannette (Edward) Villalobos of DeBary, FL, Douglas (LuAnn) Waller of Minneapolis, MN, Curtis Waller Jr. of Irvington, DeWayne (Donna Jean) Waller (Deceased). Reah has 18 grandchildren and one deceased, 36 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. Reah worked at the Menomonie Egg Plant for a short time, but was a Homemaker most of her life. Her main hobbies were sewing, gardening, and cooking. Her family knew her as the best cook ever. Reah was preceded in death by her parents, husband Curtis, son DeWayne, granddaughter Valerie, sister Esther Thompson, and brother Roy Doane. Funeral services will be at 11:00AM Wednesday September 23, 2009 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Menomonie, with Pastor Mary Jorgensen officiating. Burial will be in Grand View Cemetery in the twp. of Dunn, Dunn Co., WI. Family and friends are welcome at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie from 4:00 to 8:00PM Tuesday, September 22, 2009 and at the church one hour prior to services on Wednesday. | ||
