| Wayne Henry Hoyt age 86, of Menomonie WI, died at home with his family by his side on October 8, 2009.
Wayne married Eva Joyce Kunz on January 25, 1947 at the Peace Lutheran Church, Parsonage in Menomonie, WI. Wayne was a dairy farmer in Menomonie for many years after his marriage to Joyce. After retiring from farming in 1976 he then worked for Burgraff Construction for 15 years. Wayne very much enjoyed the outdoors including: fishing, camping, woodwork, hunting, cards, snowmobiling, traveling, but most of all, he loved spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Wayne is preceded in death by parents, Tesco and Iva Hoyt and 3 sisters, Ruby McGilton, LaVerle Reid and Jessie Schlosser. Wayne is survived by his wife of 62 years, Joyce; children, Frederick (Diane) Hoyt, Theodore (Susan) Hoyt, Jay Hoyt, Kay (Scott) Sievwright and Wayne “Buch” (Tammy) Hoyt; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Memorial Service will be held 2pm Monday, October 12, at New Hope Lutheran Church, Downsville with visitation one hour prior to service. Olson Funeral Home of Menomonie WI is assisting the family with funeral arrangements. As Wayne was heard to say, “That’s good enough.” | ||
