LLOYD G. BEHLING

Lloyd George Behling, age 82, of Boyceville, WI passed away Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009 at Our House Assisted Living in Chippewa Falls, WI.

He was born July 13, 1927 in Menomonie, WI to George and Minna (Metzger) Behling.

Lloyd was a loving father, grandfather, friend and family man. He loved to celebrate life.
Lloyd was born, raised and lived on the family farm in Sherman Township, South of Boyceville. He was a lifetime member of Peace Lutheran Church in Menomonie.

Lloyd is survived by his wife Arvilla (Bahr) Behling, his children and their families, Peggy (John) Nora, and Kathryn Hughes , Gary (Teri) and Arlene Behling, Daniel (Julie) Angie, Samantha and Patrick Behling, Thomas (Mary) Caitlyn and Emily Behling, Amy (Chris), Nathan and Molly Belvo and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents George and Minna Behling and his siblings Marvin, Hazel, Clara, Irma, Fern, Ruth and their spouses.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. The Funeral Service will be at Peace Lutheran Church in Menomonie, Friday Oct 30th at 11:00 am with Pastor David Whelan officiating. Burial will be in Sherman Cemetery in the Twp. of Sherman, Dunn Co., WI.
