Jake A. Waller, age 23, of Menomonie, WI passed away Thursday, November 05, 2009 at home, surrounded by his family, following a courageous battle with Giloma brain cancer. Jake Anthony Waller was born January 12, 1986 in Eau Claire, WI to Brian and Betty (Brackin) Waller. He was raised in the Menomonie area and graduated from Elk Mound High School in 2004. Jake married Rebecca Terrana on July 11, 2008 in Menomonie. Jake enjoyed fishing, hunting, skate boarding, break dancing, singing, cooking and working on cars. He also loved playing backgammon, spending time with friends and family, playing with his daughter and working on the cabin with his grandfather. Most importantly Jake loved being married. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Jake is survived by: His loving wife, Rebecca Waller of Menomonie A daughter Lexie Tuttle of Germany His father, Brian Waller (Kim Fuller) of Menomonie His mother, Betty Waller of Arizona Three sisters, Chantise, Jessica and Kendra Waller all of Menomonie Grandparents, Curt Waller of Menomonie Cliff and Connie Berlin of Altoona Jack and Bunny Pooler of Solon Springs Great-grandmother Margaret Shaffer of Brookfield, PA Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Donna Waller and other grandparents. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, Nov. 9, 2009 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, with Pastor Roger Galstad officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Menomonie.
