William "Uncle Willie" McDonagh, 79, of Poulnaclaugh, Moycullen, County Galway, Ireland. Beloved brother of Thomas (Julia), Anne (Kieran) Hickey, the late Eamonn(Siobhan), Margaret, Timothy (Liz), Lily, Johnny, Malachy, Andy (Barbara), Patsy (Mary Ellen), Maura (Sr. Eithne), and Joe; Uncle Willie was the favorite Uncle/Grand Uncle to a multitude of nieces and nephews in Boston, Chicago, Little Rock, and Ireland. A dear friend to many, Uncle Willie Arrived in Chicago by way of Australia in 1969 and retired from S & C Electric in 1992. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who had the fortune to have known him. Prayers 9:30 AM Thursday at Drake & Son Funeral Home 5303 N. Western Ave., Chicago with a 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at Transfiguration Church. Interment Private. Visitation 3-9 PM Wednesday. In lieu of flowers donations to; St. Patrick Fathers, 1237 W.
