Patsy Ann Greiner, 61 went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 16, 2006 in Tampa, Florida. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 34 years, Raymond Eugene Greiner;her freckled faced Little Slugger grandson, Aaron Scott Johnson; and her loving parents, Walter Aaron Roberts and Alta Mae Blevins Roberts. She was born on October 10, 1944 in Paintsville, Kentucky, the youngest of five children. She was raised in Coal Grove, Ohio and relocated with her husband and three daughters to Tampa, Florida in 1981. She is survived by her loving daughters, Bambi Johnson and husband Don of Ironton, Candy Hobbs and husband Robert, and Teresa Greiner all of Tampa, Florida, and four grandchildren, Alex Johnson, Owen Johnson, Olivia Hobbs and Greiner Hobbs who all affectionately called her "Mamaw". She is also survived by her three brothers, Bill Roberts and wife Fern of Coal Grove, Bud Roberts and wife Kathie of Columbia, South Carolina, Bob Roberts and wife Karen of South Point; one sister, Nellie Jo Wright of Tennesse; sister-in-law Patty Roberts of Coal Grove; brother-in-law Ralph Owens of Spring Hill, Florida; her lifelong friends, George and Mary Gene Patterson of Symmes Valley; and numerous nieces and nephews. Patsy was a member of Hyde Park United Methodist Church, but had recently begun attending services at Palma Ceia United Methodist Church in Tampa. She loved spending time with her family, writing poetry, and watching American Idol while evaluating contestants during phone conversations with her sister in Tennessee. A memorial for Patsy will take place on Saturday, July 22, 2006 at Memorial United Methodist Chruch in Coal Grove, Ohio at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Les Boggs officiating. Private burial will follow at Highlands Memorial Gardens in South, Ohio with a celebration of her life with her family and friends after the private burial in the Coal Grove United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Mamaw will be remembered as a loving, giving, thoughtful person who loved the Lord very much. She was a strong advocate for the Tampa Police Department and it Officers and prayed for their safety daily. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in honor of Officer "T" Greiner's Mom to the Tampa Police Department Gold Shield Foundation, PO Box 271791, Tampa, Florida 33688 benefiting the children of police officers killed in the line of duty.
