| | | GLENWOOD, IOWA- MICHAEL GLENN WILKENS, 55, of Glenwood, formerly of Hawarden, Iowa died suddenly on Thursday, October 16, 2008.
Family Memorial Service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Porter Funeral Home in Hawarden with Rev. Todd Bunge officiating. Burial of the cremated remains will be in the Grace Hill Cemetery in Hawarden.
Michael Glenn Wilkens was born August 14, 1953 in Hawarden, Iowa. Since the age of 5 he has made his home in Glenwood, Iowa.
Michael is survived by his father, Glenn Wilkens of Hawarden; his mother, Beverly Wilkens of LeMars, Iowa; a brother, Raymond and his wife Kim of LeMars; a sister, Patti Van Roekel and her husband Jake of Ireton, Iowa; a brother, Douglas and his wife Melodee of Hawarden; and nieces and nephews.
Michael was preceded in death by two sisters, Vicki and Judy Wilkens; a niece, Jessica Wilkens; and his grandparents, Byron and Thelma Gavagan and Edna Wilkens.
