Powell Funeral Home is the only locally and family owned funeral home in Bald Knob and Searcy. The Powell family came to White County in 1960, when Bob Powell purchased funeral homes in Augusta and in Bald Knob, later purchasing Kinney Funeral Home in Judsonia. In the early 1980's Mr. Powell built the current location of our Bald Knob~Judsonia funeral home and combined the two locations to better serve both communities. As the Powell family wanted to better serve the families of White County, they saw the need to expand their services into Searcy. In March 2000, they did just that with the opening of their Searcy location.
Powell Funeral Homes proudly remain independent and locally owned. The Powell family and staff believe that we are accountable to you, not out of town board of directors.
