| | | Ivan Eugene Smith, resident of Pangburn, passed away on Sunday at the age of 62.
Mr. Smith was born November 7, 1946 in Elizabethton, Tennessee the son of George Smith and Ida Edith Ensor Smith Connelly. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Pangburn. Mr. Smith was employed by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette as a carrier and was a member of the VFW.
Survivors include his wife, Carol L. Smith of Pangburn; his mother, Ida Ensor Connelly of Chicago, Illinois; sister, Connie Sue Smith Marcum of Jeffery, West Virginia; step-brother, Paul Connelly of Chicago, Illinois; a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Joe Smith, a sister, Diane Smith McGuire; his father, George Smith.
