| | | James Arthur Hill, 95, of West Point, died Thursday, August 20. He was born March 29, 1914, in Winston, Alabama, the son of John and Nancy Spradling Hill.
Mr. Hill is survived by five daughters, Shelia McCluskey (Sonny), Judy Hollaway; Melissa Carter (Jim), Dovie LeMay (Bob), Hattie Vaughn (David); two sons, William and Harold (Pam) Hill; a sister, Hattie McFall; fourteen grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Winsell Davis Hill; a son, Chuck Hill; three brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services will be Sunday, August 23 at 2:00 pm at Powell Funeral Home of Bald Knob. Visitation will be Saturday from 6 – 8 at the funeral home. Interment will be at West Point Cemetery. www.powellfuneralhome.net
