| | | Lewis Monroe Scarborough, 80, of Cabot passed away on Saturday at his home.
Mr. Scarborough was born August 4, 1929 in Hickoria, Arkansas the son of William and Lottie Bullington Scarborough. He was a machinist and Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Scarborough of Cabot; two sons, Randy (Karen) Scarborough of Rose Bud and Lewis Scarborough, Jr. of Maryland; four stepsons, Robert (Evelena) Heitman of McAlister, OK, Charles (Mary) Heitman of Judsonia, Michael Heitman of Cabot, and Kevin (Joy) Heitman of Ft. Stewart, GA; three stepdaughters, Cheryl Drennan of Cabot, Laurie Bennett of Cabot, and Tina Scoggin of North Little Rock; a sister, Ruby (Richard) Short of Judsonia; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lewis was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Terry Scarborough; brother, Jack Scarborough; sisters, Irene Hearn, Mary Phillips, and Ila Curtis.
Funeral services will be conducted 2PM Wednesday at Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 PM. Interment in Fredonia Cemetery.
