| | | Carl Eugene Langston, 85, of Searcy, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2009. Born July 14, 1924, in Wright County, Missouri, to Guy and Lillian Langston, he was a World War II veteran. He married Ruth Ann Todd in 1947. He was a faithful member of the College Church of Christ in Searcy.
Survivors include his son Douglas and wife Paula, of Searcy; grandchildren Clinton, of Nashville, Tennessee; Anna Bryant and husband Ethan, of Memphis, Tennessee; brother William Langston, of Houston, Texas; sister Dorothy Pederson, of Macomb, Illinois; as well as nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and a sister, Mary Louise Smith, of Nixa, Missouri.
