| | | Arthur Guy Johnston, Jr., 85, of Searcy, died Monday, September 7. He was born April 14, 1924, in Algoa, Arkansas, the son of Arthur Guy Johnston, Sr., and Ofa Stringer Johnston.
Mr. Johnston was a past president of New Hope Industries. He served on the board of the Searcy Country Club, was an avid golfer, and loved Razorback football. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Searcy, where he was a member of the Murray Sunday School Class.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Louise Johnston, of Searcy, and is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ofa Johnston.
