| | | Carrie Wood, 87, of Floral passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2009.
Mrs. Wood was a longtime member of Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church and more recently a member of Flippo Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Morris Wood; her daughter, Karen Smith; one sister, Geneva Wood; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Logan and Mattie Della Coverstone Harper; her husband, Leroy Wood; one son, Lawrence Avery Wood.
Services will be 10 am Tuesday at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Floral with interment in Union Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6-8 pm at Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob. Arrangements entrusted to Powell Funeral Homes. www.powellfuneralhome.net
