| | | Albert Slaughter, Jr., 64, of Searcy, died Sunday, October 25, 2009. He was born November 5, 1944 in Searcy, the son of Albert and Ada Maxine Jones Slaughter.
Albert was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, employed by Winnelson, and was a voluntary firefighter for the Fairview Fire Department for over 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda, of the home; two sons, Chad Slaughter and his wife Mandy of Beebe, and Chance Slaughter of Searcy; a daughter, Lindsay Evans and her husband Jason of Searcy; four brothers, Billy, Jimmy, and Michael Harrison and John Slaughter; three sisters, Janet Bailey, Jeanie Slaughter and Sarah Armon; and three grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his loving grandparents, Bill and Gertie Lowery Jones, who raised him.
