| | | Willie B. Sneed, 73, of Judsonia, died Friday, October 30, 2009 in Little Rock. He was born June 11, 1936 in Independence County to the late Ira Amos and Opal Almeda Thomason Sneed. Mr. Sneed was a carpenter and truck driver and a member of the Temple Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors: Wife, Maxine Sneed; sons, Willie Sneed, Jr, Judsonia, Joey E. Sneed, Jackson, Mississippi and Jason E. Sneed, Columbus, Ohio; daughter, Juanita Harper, Judsonia; grandchildren, Joey and Chasity Sneed, Jason and Kara Sneed, Amber and Adam Sneed, Amanda and Joey Waggoner, Mark and Lisa Harper, Jr., Melissa and Buster Brogdon and Lesli and Daniel Beeland; a sister, Linda Carol Shaver, Batesville and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Troy B. Sneed.
Visitation will be on Monday, November 2, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob. Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at the Temple Missionary Baptist Church in Bald Knob with interment following in the Egner Cemetery in Independence County.
