Arthur Derrell Simpson, 65, of Jonesboro, died Sunday, November 1, 2009 at the VA Hospital in Little Rock. He was born August 2, 1944 at Manila, Arkansas. Arthur served his country in the Army and was a Vietnam Combat Veteran.
Preceding him in death were his mother, Rosemary Caluza; father, Arthur Simpson; brothers, Ron and Gary Simpson; an infant son, Baby-boy Simpson.
He is survived by 4 sons; Derrell Simpson and his wife Rhonda of Bay, Christopher Simpson of Truman, Tommy Simpson and his wife Karen of Harrisburg and Joey Simpson and his wife Christine of Jonesboro; 2 sisters, Jean Curtiss of Judsonia and Kathy Mendoza of Jonesboro; his childrens mother, Belva Murray of Truman; 8 grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
