Daisy L. Flagg, 61, of 679 Southside Ave., Cherry Creek, died at 9:50 A.M. Friday (Feb. 13, 2009) in her home. She was born Feb. 15, 1947 in Hornell, N.Y., the daughter of Earl and Florence Nephew Chadwick. She had been employed as a health care aide with several agencies, most recently with Staff Builders. Daisy was a twenty year cancer survivor. She is survived by her husband, Roland W. Flagg; three sons: Guy Nash of Conewango Valley, Donald Nash of Jamestown, and Charles Nash of Dubois, Pa.; several loving grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters: Linda Patterson and Inez Lewis, both of Jamestown; two brothers: Otto and Steve Chadwick, both of Jamestown; and her best friend, Alice Burch of Ellington. The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday in Powers, Present & Sixbey Funeral Home. The Rev. Timothy Phelps, Hospice chaplain, will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the funeral service Monday in the funeral home.
