Reidun G. Senske



 
Reidun G. Senske, 85, of 5039 Rte. 474, Ashville, died at 1:16 A.M. Wednesday (Feb. 18, 2009) in WCA Hospital.
She was born May 15, 1923 in Oslo, Norway, the daughter of Oscar and Solveig Syvertsen Olson.
Prior to retiring, she had been employed with the grandparent program at the Resource Center, and in earlier years had worked at the former Green Brothers Lumber Co. and at BOCES.
Surviving are two sons: Richard S. Senske of Ashville and Tore Andersen of Oslo, Norway; two daughters: Gloria J. (Ken) Warren and Glenny J. (Neville) Messinger, both of Ashville; nine grandchildren: Michael J. (Jessie) Senske of Middleport, N.Y., Nicole M. Senske (Ryan Betts) of Warren, Pa., Renee K. Senske of Ashville, Ashley M. Senske of Ashville, Jennifer L. (Dustin) Feldt of Ashville, Julie L. Danielson (fiancé Joshua Roberts) of Russell, Pa., Raquel R. (Jeff) Ruch of Ashville, and Reidar Andersen and Terje Andersen, both of Oslo, Norway; and twelve great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney J. Senske, whom she married March 3, 1951 in Chicago, Ill., and who died April 11, 1991; and by a brother, Reidar Olson.
A graveside service will be at a later date in Blockville Union Burying Ground. Visitation will not be observed. Messages to the family may be sent by visiting the website www.presentsixbeyfuneral.com.
