Shirley J. Hicks Williamson | | | | | Shirley J. Hicks Williamson, 55, of 303 Lafayette St., died at 9:48 A.M. Thursday (March 29, 2012) in her home.
She was born Feb. 19, 1957 in St. Louis, Mo., the daughter of Thomas Hicks, Sr. She attended school in the St. Louis area.
Shirley was a very religious person who enjoyed reading the Bible. God willing, she hoped to make it to age 55, and was very thankful when she did. She was also very thankful for her friends who looked after her, and will be sadly missed.
Surviving are brothers and sisters in St. Louis, Mo., and a friend, Pennie McChesney of Jamestown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Williamson, whom she married March 6, 1998 in Jamestown, and who died Nov. 1, 2006.
There will be no funeral service or visitation.
