| | | Margaret L. Stormer, 78, of 3725 N. Main St. Ext., died at 2:15 P.M. Thursday (May 3, 2007) in her home.
She was born May 25, 1928 in Jamestown, the daughter of Cleo Baker and Gertrude Denslow Baker Zimmerman.
Mrs. Stormer attended Celoron schools, and in earlier years had been employed at the former Art Metal Manufacturing Co.
Always a wonderful family person and homemaker, she will also be remembered as a good friend and neighbor, and as one with a great sense of humor. She enjoyed needlework, bowling, calligraphy and collecting frogs, liked to fish, and loved to go shopping.
Surviving are her husband, Robert A. Stormer, Sr., whom she married March 15, 1945 in Celoron; a son, Robert A. Stormer, Jr. of Jamestown; two daughters: Sheila K. Devine of Cleveland, Tenn. and Trudy L. Johnson of Jamestown; and three sisters: Joan Newhall of Jamestown, Judy Walker of Long Island, N.Y., and Paula Johnson of Thornton, Col.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step father, William Zimmerman; and by a brother, Lee M. Baker.
The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday in Powers, Present & Sixbey Funeral Home. The Rev. Amy Walter-Peterson, Hospice chaplain, will officiate. Burial will be in Fluvanna Cemetery.
