Glen Richard Prevett age 61 of Stockport died Friday, March 25, 2011 at the University Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Glen was born July 19, 1949 in Fairfield, the son of Theodore Edward and Laura Marie Moore Prevett.
He grew up in Fairfield and lived in Ottumwa and Stockport.
Glen was self-employed and had worked at the American Bottling, in construction and for Roush Tree Service.
Glen married Wilda Kempf on March 24, 2000 in Fairfield.
He loved playing the guitar, fishing, gardening and especially being with his grandchildren.
Deceased family members include his parents, his son Brad Prevett, 1 daughter Tina in infancy and 4 brothers: George, Clinton, Ted Jr. and Virgil in infancy.
Surviving family members include his wife Wilda of Stockport, sons: Glen (Deana) Prevett Jr. of Ottumwa; Gerald ( Micki) Prevett of Jacksonville, Illinois; Josh (Tiffany) Grove of Ottumwa; Ben ( Kim ) Grove of Eldon; 1 brother Kenneth (Teri) Prevett of Stockport; 5 sisters: Kathryn ( Otto) Ward of Rockaway Beach, MO.; Sharon ( Rusty) Koch and Esther ( Roy) Goettsche , both of Fairfield and Mary Anderson of Keosauqua and Violet ( Fred) Oswalt of High Amana, IA; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandson, and Glenís mother-in-law of Washington, IA.
A Celebration of Glenís Life will be from 12 Noon until 3:00 P.M. Saturday, April 2nd at the Stockport Legion Hall in Stockport.

The Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield is assisting the family with the arrangments.
