| | | Ruth Louise Blow, 90 of Essex Junction, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday August 9, 2008.
She was Born in Burlington April 1, 1918 daughter of the late Ruth and Joseph Guyette.
She married Ector Blow on December 21, 1935. He passed away in July of 2004. Ruth loved her family very much and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. During her life she enjoyed shopping, Old Orchard Beach Maine and spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by a son Ector Jr. a loving daughter and caregiver Theresa Miller and Husband David of Essex; granddaughter Sue Wilbert of Burlington and her children Jessica and Mathew; a very close granddaughter whom she had a very special bond with and will miss her dearly, Barb Gilmond and her Husband Jay of Essex and their 4 children Tyler, Casey-Lynn, Katelyn and Jared; her sisters Janet Stamour and her husband Walter of North Carolina, Marianne Olsaver of Burlington, special friend Millie Richer of Burlington; and her sister-in-law Lorraine Blow of Williston.
Besides her husband, Ruth was predeceased by an infant daughter Betty, a sister Gertrude and her husband Frank Angelino, four brothers-in-law, and three sisters-in-¬law.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at 11:00am in Holy Family Church, Essex Junction with burial to follow in Grand Isle Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30am at the Ready Funeral & Cremation Service Mountain View Chapel, 68 Pinecrest Dr., Essex Junction.
