She was an avid reader, loved to knit and always loved to cook up something special for her family. Her garden was always full of color and of love as she was. She was a loving, wise, courageous, mother and grandmother whose counsel and love will be sadly missed. She is survived by her daughter Lynne-Delle and her husband R. John Dore of South Burlington; two grandsons and their wives, Brad and Elizabeth Dore of West Newbury, Mass., and Lee and Tracey Dore of Charlotte.; five great-grandchildren, Hannah, Grace, Ethan, Clara, and Sam; and her brother, William (Bill) Chalmers of Vernon, British Columbia; and three nieces Nancy, Cora, and Donna in Vancouver; and her nephew, David Shirra in Blaine, Wash. She was predeceased by a grandson Ryan Dore in 1992; as well as her sister and brother in-law, Rita and Platon Ustinov; and her brother Donald Chalmers. As were her wishes, there will be no services at this time. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
