LARRAINE D. BRICE
Larraine D. Brice, 86, of So. Burlington, died on Monday, September 22, 2008 at Fletcher Allen Health Care.
She was born in Burlington on April 23, 1922 the daughter of the late Harold and Ella Langlois. On August 9, 1943 she was married to Fredrick A. Brice, Sr., he predeceased her in August, 1988.
Larraine was a professional seamstress, an avid doll and antique collector, and enjoyed working in her vegetable garden.
She is survived by her sons Fredrick A. Brice, Jr. and his wife Jean of Shelburne and Richard Brice and his companion Joan of So. Burlington; her grandchildren Hallie Desautels of Georgia, VT and Richard Brice, Jr. and his wife Amanda of Milton; three great-grandchildren Madison Brice. Tiffany Desautels, and Lance Desautels, Jr. She was predeceased by her three brothers.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at 11:00am in Resurrection Park Cemetery, So. Burlington. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Larraine’s memory may be made to the Humane Society of Chittenden County, 142 Kindness Ct., So. Burlington, VT 05403 or to the American Heart Association Vermont Affiliate, 434 Hurricane Ln., Williston, VT 05495.
