| | | Helena M. Weremeichik, 48 of Williston, died on Sat. Oct. 11, 2008 at the VT Respite House after a courageous battle with cancer.
Helena was born on Sept. 16, 1960 in Long Island, NY. She moved with her family to Williston in 1972. She was a 1978 graduate of CVU High School. For many years she worked in the lab at UVM, she also worked at Pillsbury Manor as a LPN and loved helping and caring for the residents there. She also enjoyed the Family Day Picnic held every year.
For the past few years Helena found peace and comfort at the All Saints Episcopal Church in South Burlington. She often talked about how caring everyone was there. She also loved animals from lab rats, dogs, cats and especially the Equine Variety. Her compassion for people and animals was real. She will be missed by many.
