| | | Argentine C. Godin, 97, of Hayward St. died on Friday, October 24, 2008 at the Vermont Respite House in Williston.
She was born in St. Albert, Ontario on August 22, 1911 the daughter of Roche and Anastasie (Lamesse) Chause. She was educated in Canada and moved to the United States in 1928. In 1930 she was married to Floyd Godin. He predeceased her on June 20, 1985.
She is survived by a daughter, Marlene F. Vespa and her husband George of Lake Placid, NY; three grandchildren, Kimberly Vespa, Elizabeth Reid and Alethea Vespa all of Lake Placid; also four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Reginald Godin in 2003.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 12 noon in Christ the King Roman Catholic Church. Private committal services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no visiting hours.
