| | | David J. Purcell, 56 of Burlington, died peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008 in the Burlington Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born in Cambridge, MA on Jan. 30, 1952, the son of Warren R. and Catherine M. (Higgins) Purcell. He had worked as a telemarketer for many years.
David is survived by his son, Loren D. Purcell of San Francisco, CA; a sister, Mary C. Purcell and her husband, Juan A. Diaz, of Portsmouth, RI; a brother, W. Richard Purcell, Jr. of Boulder, CO, and Loren’s mother, Carol Brunzell of Inver Grove Heights, MN. He was predeceased by his parents.
David had much-appreciated interest, skills, and insights in music, art, philosophy, and humor.
A service of celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, Oct. 30 in the Ready Funeral and Cremation Service, South Chapel, 261 Shelburne Road, Burlington at a time to be announced in Thursday’s Free Press.
