William P. Rutherford, the current President and Owner of Rutherford Funeral Homes and Crematories. Mr. Rutherford has been a licensed funeral director for over 50 years and has served as the President of the Ohio Funeral Director’s Association, the National Funeral Director’s Association, and the Cremation Association of North America (CANA). Mr. Rutherford is a member of North United Methodist Church; Neoacacia Lodge #595 F&AM; the 32nd Degree Masons, Valley of Columbus; York Temple Chapter #155 RAM; York Council #115 R&SM; Aladdin Shriners and is a Past Patron of Corinthian Chapter #393 Order of the Eastern Star. In 2000 Mr. Rutherford is also an Honorary Member of the Supreme Council, 33rd Degree Mason and a recipient of the DeMolay Legion of Honor.

Donald C. Jones serves as the Executive Vice-President of Rutherford Funeral Homes and Crematories and is the Managing Director of the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington. Don has been a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer for over 30 years and is a graduate of The Ohio State University and the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He is a Past President of the Central Ohio Funeral Director’s Association. His memberships include: McKendree United Methodist Church and he serves on the Board of the Worthington Arts Council and Walnut Grove Cemetery.

N. Crowell Shane serves as Vice President of Rutherford Funeral Homes and Crematories and is the Managing Director of the Rutherford-Shroyer Funeral Home, 1278 West Broad Street, Columbus. Crowell has been a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer for over 25 years and is a graduate Shawnee State University and the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He is a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, a Past Master of New England Lodge #4 F&AM and a Past Patron of Worthington Chapter #287 Order of the Eastern Star. His other memberships include: The 32nd Degree Masons, Valley of Columbus; Horace W. Wright Chapter #226 RAM; Zabud Council #99 R&SM; Aladdin Temple Shrine and the Worthington Shrine Club.

Scott E. Zinn serves as the Manager Director of Rutherford Funeral Home, 2383 North High Street, Columbus. Scott has been a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer for over 15 years and is a graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He is a member of King Avenue United Methodist Church.

Susan M. Jones is a licensed Funeral Director with over 15 years experience and has been serving families at all of the Rutherford locations. Sue is a graduate of The Ohio State University and the Riverside School of Nursing.

currently serving as the President of the Central Ohio Funeral Director’s Association. She is a member of McKendree United Methodist Church and the Powell Rotary Club.

Larry Schuster is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer with over 25 years experience and is graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. Mr. Schuster is the Director of the Rutherford Funeral Homes embalming facility. He also oversees the Crematory operations.

Terry Thomas serves as Assistant Co-Manager of the Rutherford Funeral Home at Powell, 450 West Olentangy Street (Powell Road). He has been a licensed Funeral Director for over 10 years. Mr. Thomas is a graduate of Dublin High School and The Ohio State University. He is a member of St. Brigid of Kildare Catholic Church.

Major N. Crispin serves as Assistant Co-Manager of the Rutherford Funeral Home at Powell, 450 West Olentangy Street (Powell Road). He has been a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer for over 35 years. Mr. Crispin is a graduate of Upper Arlington High School, The Ohio State University and the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He is a member of Fellowship Lutheran Church and the Powell Sertoma Club.

W. Craig Rutherford is the newest member of the Rutherford Funeral Homes staff. He recently completed his internship and passed the State Board to receive his Funeral Director and Embalming license. He is a member of Neoacacia Lodge #595 F&AM and the 32nd Degree Masons, Valley of Columbus.
