Kie Goodney, age 82, passed away September 12, 2008. Arrangements entrusted to Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis. Kie is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Dorothy Goodney of Willis; daughter Dorthia Hefner of Beaumont; daughter Kathleen Goodney and Donald Brown of Willis; daughter Dorcus Kristine Cox and husband Todd of Willis; son Anthony Goodney and wife Debbie of Riverside; granddaughter Keely Parrish and husband Jason of Cypress; granddaughter Kaylee Cox of Willis; grandson Clay Goodney of Riverside; grandson Kristopher Cox of Willis; brother James Goodney and wife Shirley of Willis; and numerous great-grandchildren and other relatives. Graveside services officiated by Rev. Bill Trylor will be held Saturday September 20 at 2 PM at Willis Cemetery.
