Florence Edna (Bunnie) Marling
October 6, 1912 – October 10, 2008
Mrs. Marling was a pioneer of her time. Her husband served in World War II and Mrs. Marling was at home raising three children. She gave her life to raising a special needs child. She was a perfect example of true love. She and her daughter attended Faith Baptist Church in Houston Texas. After her daughter’s death she lived alone. She is preceded in death by her husband Minor E. Marling; her daughter Bettye Jean; and her brothers, Tom, George, and Will Anderson; and her sisters, Mimie Coffey and Lena Duncan; and granddaughter Kathy Marling Davis. She is survived by her sons Robert and wife Pat of Willis, TX and Tommy and his wife Jennie of Santa Fe, TX; and sister-in-law Carol Marling Crow of Colorado; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces whom she cared for and loved dearly. Visitation will be Tuesday October 28, from 5-8 PM at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis, TX. Graveside services for family will be held Wednesday, October 29, at 2 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., in Houston, TX.
