VIEW/SEND CONDOLENCES
| | | Sarah was born May 6, 1984 in Houston, Texas. She passed into Eternal Life on December 23, 2008 in the Methodist Hospital, after a brief illness. She is now safe in the hands of her Heavenly Father along with being reunited with her earthly father, Butch who had just passed away in March. She has also been reunited with both of her grandmothers whom she dearly loved and one grandfather she never got to meet on earth.
Sarah never met a stranger. She had the most beautiful smile that lit up the whole room. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church where she spent many fulfilling years in Sunday School and youth group where she was confirmed and was an honorary member of the altar guild. She loved living in the country where she could have as many dogs as she wanted. She was active in 4-H raising and showing rabbits and participated in sewing and cooking. She graduated from Willis High School in 2002 where she was a member of the National Honor Society and particicpated in many organizations. She was best known as “Willamina Wildkat”, the school mascot. She also attended Lone Star College and Sam Houston State University. She had planned on being a teacher because she idolized so many of her teachers.
Sarah is survived by her mother and best friend, Mary Jane (Janie) Scarborough of Willis; her grandfather, Charles Scarborough of Livingston; Aunt and Uncle, Beth and John Clark; cousins, Steve Clark, Julie Clark, Tracy Truax and family all of Galena, Ohio; Bruce Scarborough and sister, Kim VanWie and families of Iowa; cousins Rob Brenner and family and Teresa Simpson and family of Texas; other cousins and extended family; many friends; and her dogs Dottie, Sophie, Bob and Willie. Thank you Sarah for being a part of our lives.
Services will be at Grace Lutheran Church, Conroe, Texas on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 11 a.m.. Her family will receive friends at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, Willis, Texas on Monday, December 29th from 6-8 p.m..
