Robert Beard of New Waverly, TX, born June 11, 1951, passed away May 25, 2009 in Conroe, TX. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Patsy Beard; daughters Patty Garcia and husband David; Nancy (Go-Go) Reyes and husband Rogelio; grandchildren Danielle, Dawnielle and Daylee Kellum, Nicholas, Christina, Vanessa, and Daisy Reyes, Madyson and Sadie Garcia; mother Betty Archer; stepmom Sarah Stowe; sister Rhonda Green; brothers Randy, Rocky and Roger Beard; many other relatives and friends; and his loving companion Cowgirl and his pride and joy We-We. Robert is preceded in death by his father Melvin Beard, Jr. Visitation with the family is scheduled for Thursday, May 28 from 6-8 PM at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis. Funeral Services officiated by Brother J.D. Andrews will be held Friday, May 29 at 2:30 PM in the Chapel at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis, with interment following services at John Hill Cemetery in New Waverly.
