Nancy L. Smith, age 95, passed away May 13, 2009 in Willis, TX. She was a Valdosta native and lived there most of her life. Someone who never met a stranger, she was loved by all who knew her. We will miss her quick wit and ability to make us belly laugh, she has them laughing out loud in heaven. She is survived by her loving family, nephew Andrew Lauth of Montgomery, TX; niece Alicia Lauth of Montgomery, TX; great nephew Drew Lauth of Montgomery, TX, and devoted adopted family Melody Gaskins and family of Valdosta,Ga. The wonderful caregivers at Fellowship Home in Valdosta, The LeHoods’, Vita, Mary Alice and the entire staff were so kind and loving to her. And her newest home at Willis Convalescent Center, where their kind staff made her feel right at home. Nancy is preceded in death by husband D.
