Joe D. Crawford, age 52, passed away September 12, 2009. Owner of McFadden and Associates Plumbing in Houston, he was an avid outdoorsman who had a kind and generous heart. Joe is survived by wife JoElla Crawford of Willis; son Joel Crawford; daughter JoLynn Meier and husband Tony; grandson Evan Anthony Meier; mother Betty Crawford; sister Margaret McCormick; brothers Donald Crawford, Darrell Crawford, Duane Crawford, and Darwin Crawford; and best friend and honorary brother, Jerry Andreski. Joe is preceded in death by father Delton Crawford. Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday, September 15 from 6 – 8 PM at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis. Funeral Services officiated by Rev. Jack Black are scheduled for Wednesday, September 16 at 10 AM in the Chapel at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis, with interment following service at Smith Memorial Park in Willis. Pallbearers include Dennis Vater, Joey Rowe, Glen Herring, Butch West, Tim Neff, Billy McKinley, Cliff Stringfellow and Keith Payne.
