Graveside services for Carolyn Sharon Allen, 67, of Huntsville will be held at 10 A.M. at Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Carol Williams officiating. Carolyn was born January 30, 1942 in Jacksonville, Texas and passed away May 16, 2009 in Huntsville, Texas. Carolyn was a 1960 graduate of Huntsville High School and attended Sam Houston State University. Survivors include a niece Melissa Megan Hayhurst and husband Mark of Porter; nephew, Thomas Stefan Allen of Nacogdoches; grand-nephews, Thomas Hayden Allen and Mason Cole Allen both of Nacogdoches. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, James T. Allen and Kathleen Roberta (Watson) Allen of Huntsville, Texas and brother James R. Allen of Huntsville, Texas.
