Jamie Ruth Horn was born November 22, 1940 in Joaquin, Texas and went home to be with her Lord on Sept 12, 2009. Jamie was an Administrative Assistant at the Spring Branch ISD for over 15 years and after retirement she and husband Roger moved to Elkins Lake. She was known to friends and family as loving mother, grandmother and a devoted wife of 51 years . She loved her church and church family at Elkins Lake Baptist Church. Jamie an only child is preceded in death by her parents James Ferguson Grayson and Ruth Hooper. She is survived by her husband Roger, sons Steven, Rodney and wife Beth and daughter Kristi Poe and husband Mark and 6 grandchildren. Services for Jamie will be Monday, Sept 14, 2009 at Elkins Lake Baptist Church, Huntsville, Texas at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at 4:00PM at Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Cemetery, Logansport, Louisiana. Visitation will be 4-6 PM Sunday, Sept 13, 2009 at the chapel of Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home.
