Claudia Shaffner Claudia Shaffner of Trinity, TX passed away at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, TX on Friday October 16, 2009. Claudia was born November 26, 1950 in Houston, TX to Claude and Yvonne Gary. Claudia was raised in Houston, but later moved to New York where she spent a number of years. She returned to Texas and settled in Trinity where she had resided for the past 13 years. She had been employed by UTMB and was at the TDCJ Estelle Unit in Huntsville for the past 7 years. Claudia is survived by Randy Moxham, her husband of 16 years; mother, Yvonne Gary; four children, Monica and husband Garth Faries, Patrice and husband Tracy Puckett, Danny and wife Amanda Shaffner, Joe and wife Cathy Shaffner; nine grand-children Paul, Peter, Anna, Jacob, Caleb, Ian, Keegan, Timothy, and Sarah. She is proceeded in death by her father Claude Gary and brother Claude Gary Jr. A Memorial service will be held at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home of Huntsville on Saturday October 24, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a visitation with family and friends immediately after in the same location.
