Felecia Roshell Carter Felecia Roshell Carter was born February 28, 1967 in Huntsville, Texas to Nathaniel “Chief” Allen and Bessie Carter. On October 21, 2009, Felecia passed away at Conroe Regional Medical Center, she was 42. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Leroy Carter, Willie (Nate) Carter and sister Sharon Carter. Felicia graduated from Huntsville High School in 1985 and became a graduate of TSTC in 1987 with an A.D. in Culinary Arts and Business. She worked for nineteen years with Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Felecia was a member of 1st New Friendship MBC and was a member of the Sr. Choir and Culinary Ministry. Felecia Roshell Carter, loved her church family and all her many, many friends. She leaves to cherish precious memories a daughter Jarlicia Carter, a loving and devoted companion Kenneth Williams, five sisters: Linda Moten, (Roy), Evelyn Hightower, Kendra Brown, (Howard) of Huntsville, Doris James of Fort Worth and Irma Rivon, (Tony) of Anahuac, three brothers: Robert Ross of Dallas, Robert Carter of Houston and Reginald Carter of Huntsville, sister-in-law Patricia Johnson, (Eric) of Conroe, brothers-in-law Noah Williams of Houston and George York of Huntsville, Uncle Clarence Davis of Houston and Aunt Odessa Holmes of Houston and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives. Serving as pallbearers are Eric Johnson, Arnold Issac, Robert Jones, Jr., Jackie Edwards, Tyrone Wilson, Stephen Fowler, III, Deric Moten and Demarias Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Byron Jones, Mike Justice, I.G. Liggins, Tony Rivon, Noah Williams, George York and Roy Moten. Services will be held at Church Unity of Faith in Huntsville, Texas, Saturday, October 24, 2009, 1:00 PM with Rev. Ronald Eagleton officiating. Interment will follow at Martha’s Chapel in Huntsville. She will lie in state from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Church Unity of Faith. Those wishing to leave memorial condolences for the family may do so at www.shmfh.com.
