Arcell Madorice Peace Bean

Arcell Madorice Peace Bean, 93, went to meet her Savior on Sunday, June 10, 2012 in Huntsville, Texas. Arcell was born to Wheeler and Tessie Peace on December 9, 1918 in Toro, Louisiana.

She was a long-time resident of Kirbyville, Texas, and had resided in Huntsville, Texas near her family for the past seven years.

Arcell attended Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana and went on to work as a Vocational Nurse. She was a long-time member of the Kirbyville Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Ornan Bean, her sister, Theo Vines, one grandson, Shane Hogan and one great grandson, Christopher Hayslette. She leaves behind three daughters, Kaye Cox and husband, Robert Cox, of Norman, Oklahoma; Jan DuBose and husband Joe DuBose of Huntsville, Texas and Lydia Bean of Silsbee, Texas; a step daughter, Glenda Hogan and husband, Willie Hogan of Kirbyville, Texas; six grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren.

A service in memory of Arcell and in celebration of her life will be conducted at Pisgah Baptist Church in Toro, Louisiana on Wednesday, June 13 @ 10:00 am. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Senior Center of Walker County at 340 Hwy. 75, Huntsville, TX, 77340.
